A Promise With A Tear In My Eye

I want to make a promise
to the one girl in my life
That I'll love you forever
I hope one day you'll be my wife

I promise that I'll listen
when you have things to say
And I'll treat you with respect
even when you say "go away"

I promise that you'll always
have everything you need
Warm food for when you're hungry
and bandaids for when you bleed

I cannot promise you that
I won't get on your nerves
But I'll always treat you honest
Its only YOU that I will serve

Sometimes I might be crabby
and sometimes I will cry
Honey I am not perfect
after all, I'm just a guy

I appologize if I get pushy
or sometimes seem too obsessed
I'm just afraid to loose you
I love you--you're the best!

When we have a problem
I know we can work it out
I promise I will try
I promise not to shout

I hope when we disagree
we always share the blame
I swear to always be there
and I hope you'll do the same

I promise you can trust me
I promise not to lie
I promise I'll give you the world
and I love you, 'till I die.

It's really nice poem. This guy has a honest feeling. And that is so nice, A lot of guys could be love girls, and girls thoughts that they are lying, but some of guys have a honest feelings like this guy who was on the poem , Thanks Q8Y
