Announcement concerning the beginning date of Dhul Hijjah

There has been a confirmed moon sighting on Friday night, thus making Saturday, corresponding to 24 February 2001, the first day of the month of Dhul Hijjah. Thus, the Day of Arafat, 9 Dhul Hijjah, will be on Sunday, corresponding to 4 March 2001.
We ask Allaah to help us in remembering Him, praising Him, and perfecting His worship.
