Hello bro. Ziad ,

the honour is ours , and you really asked a very important question , and in the last 3 months I guess we made alot of stuff to activate the work in here , some of them succeed like this free talks and some other fixed thread . some other projects failed like sandroses' poet contest and others , and the reason of faliure is that there wasn't participation from members and that we lack here .

All what we need now are some new ideas so that we can activate them to go up with our forum .

thanx for answering me and the hounour is mine for sure
i know that chatting is the best way to improve my english but my problem is that i dont find any english one who want really talk its very rare or any forigner even when i found arabic one or egyptian and (there are lots of them) they dont want to speak in english and i have to talk in arabic with him or her and i found it easy to talk in arabic if the one i talk to him know arabic
and also the american when they talk they ask me wired ques and they think that we live in tents and they asking how i talk from the comp and how is living in the desert and u are talking on the camel and where is electrisity and things like that
so its not easy to find who wants really practise english
as an answer to ur ques iam going to the faculty of medecin in alex

what about u? what languages do u speak besides english and arabic?

sorry bro. Ziad , I'venot noticed it at the first time you wrote it here ,

all I can Say is IT'S BEAUTIFUL , I guess itis the first poem for me to read in the English forum which speaking to enthusiasm which is sleeping inside us in our "democratic " arab countries , may be I linked it with politics at the first time , but when you read it again , you'll find it can work in many fields of life .

I really liked you poem my dear bro. , and Good luck in the Sandroses' poet Contest as I saw that you participated in , so good luck

cool , then we are Colleagues at the same field , I'm also going to the first year in the fuculty of medecin in Zagazig university . it's cool to have a colleague here in the forum

I've triedwhat you said about the language and the ppl who write it .

first my friends also don't like to chat in English despite we were in a language school , but the hate English very much , they even invented a new multi-language which is arabic by english letters and no. , itis very famous in Egypt as you know ( keda mathala2 , 7aga terfa3 el da3't) .

what makes me kinda good in English and as I said b4 here is that I'd your same problem , I even wrote a story happened to me simillar to yours when I met an american boy , he was astonished when I told him I'm Egyptian , he asked me "how are you using you computer from a tent??!!" and then he asked me alot of stupid questions like what you mentioned .

another time I met 4 english ppl on messenger , they started to ask me strange questions , it's from their informal language and I was like a small "idiot" among them , so I decided to improve my English and I think you are seeking for that too.

so I started to search about foriegn ppl who are able to help me and also to be descent and have a mature minds , coz you know most of the teens in the west care about stupid stuff and we all know that , And thanks to Allah I could found lots of them and they really have mature mind and sense of humor and good things in their personality , despite there young age -most of them are in our age or younger- but they can speak in politics and most of stuff , I thought once to host some of them to the forum for a week to speak with the members , and here is a conv. woth Megan from the UK http://www.sandroses.com/abbs/showthread.php?t=96527 , she really enjoyed being here and it was fantastic .

so Noha , Choosing and finding foriegn friends well is more important than Chatting especially with anyone , I know itis difficult now to find foriegners after closing msn Chat , but there are alot of other sources , and If you would like to know any of my foriegn friends , I would be happy to help you

about your question , I'm a person who is so crazy about languages and learning them , I speak English and some french , I always practice them by Chatting , I know diffrent (italian , portuguese , malayan , Chinese , Hebrew and russian) expression and words , and I looking forward more and more , I'm thinking of asking the adminstrator "sandroses" of opening a new section for the other languages but I don't find any help , that's the only prob...

lol , When I told you about this offer , we were still on holidays , I thought it would be easy after that , but here are 3 days passed in college and itis drivin' me crazy lol .... physiology , Anatomy , Histology and bio ...WOW lol

I was before in a language school so that helped me alot at college , you know most of scientific expression were taught to me during the past years ,so I guess language is okay with me but it needs alot of studying ...May Allah help us

so about my offer to you ...let's make it in the mid year holidays so that we would be free then , and at the moment , we can Chat here with all the members in order to enhance our english

so what's your first impression about the medical subjects? and what is your favourite subject of them?

I appriciate your idea the Free talk which encourage our pupils at school as well as University to use English language well . but the problem is , there are some people who can write well , but their problem with speaking . so , either I didn't understand the notice or the title "Free talks" well or you are invited to read my notice below :
"there are many people who can write correct english but their problem in conversation . The idea would be very much apprciated if we made it "a voice chat " at the same group .
extemely sorry that I didn't introduce myself yet . I am Firas Taha , a teacher of Egnlish language . age of 46 . BA holder from Punjab University in 1984 . I am still teaching this language at secondary school , at the same time I own a Private cultural Center over here at my country Jordan .
as new member who don't know much about this forum . I am happy to be in your group .
I have sent a letter before , which might have been read by you . where I am trying to find an english speakers to talk through mic with our students at this center . not only written .
I expect an answer which may fullfil my wish , which may be very useful for all young arabian who are trying to speak .

I have read your note in this forum , which was not clear to whom it was sent , though there is a big difference in the number of years between us , but I do accept you as a very good young friend , In fact I am a new member of this forum too . I participated once or twice here by giving ideas about my field of study , English language .
I have been teaching this language since 1986 in different schools as well as in my cultural Center in Jordan .

hello dear readers ,
what I noticed here in this great forum that your participation goes quite slow , moreover people here seem to be not interested to be in touch that much , they might be busy with and satisfied with the friends they have already in touched with , and do not like to get more friends .I expect to find many answer to my previous letters , but that didn't happen. even though here a gain I write with a hope to find some people who evaluate the words written and the offer I have already given to any one who is in need to have from my good experiance in life which I had already announced in my previous letters . though I am very busy and hardly find sometimes to be with you here in this forum . it was a good replied from Soran , at least I felt that there are some people who care for others and do reply on their letters .
I do hope to find replies to this letters .
