i'm reading a book called lost history. تاريخ ضائع
written by an american writer.
it seems to shed light on teh islamic contributions to the western world. It is very specific and very intresting. All the details are laid out for your eyes to see as if you are there whith the othmans or omaids. I found it hard to believe that the book was written by a forighner. However the book does deserve to be read because you can sense all the glory of those days were islam was once at it's hightest peak. What is amazing about the book is that the writer tells historic facts about history but in a fun easy way. He starts each chapter by narating stories of the world today and somehow conneceting it to the past.
