JEDDAH – Swine flu vaccines are expected to arrive in the Kingdom within two weeks, a Ministry of Health spokesman has said.
“The Kingdom has reserved millions of vaccines from the companies producing them, and we expect them to arrive at Saudi hospitals within the next 15 days,” said the ministry’s head of public relations, Khalid Marghalani on Tuesday.
Marghalani said that the World Health Organization and other authorities were currently in the process of checking the vaccine’s duration of effectiveness and ruling out possible side-effects. – Okaz/SG
