    Brief Information about Heart


    I have notice that most of the topics that posted in the forum the past few days were about emotions either love or friendship feelings..

    Since that,, I think you have to learn a scientific things about our hearts the harbour of emotions:




    The heart beats about 72 times for every minutes of our lives

    Each day the heart pumps around 7,571 litres of blood

    During the pregnancy, the heart increases in size by 12% and is pushed upwards by the enlarging womb

    The first heart surgery was performed in 1938 on wounded World War II soldiers. The first open heart surgery was performed in the USA in 1952on a five year old girl suffering from a hole in the heart

    In 1967, the world’s first heart transplant patient , Louis Washkansky, lived for 18 years

    Ukraine has the highest number of deaths from heart disease, while Jappan has the lowest.
    Britain has one of the worst heart diseas rates in the EU, behind Ireland and Finland


    Drinking tea has been found to reduce the risks of heart attack. It is thought to contain properties which prevent cholesterol from furring up the arteries..

              Now heart: this symbol of love symbol of life symbol of any hard work
              It’s really a scientific things about our hearts
              And although I don’t like the tea I will drink it as I can.

                      I would like to correct a small mistake happened:

                      In 1967, the world’s first heart transplant patient , Louis Washkansky, lived for 18 days..
                      not years


                      And I would like also to thank you so much for your kind comments,,,I'm really glad that you find those few information are useful,, I'm also just like you it's first time I've known about tea,, so for who don't drink tea you must think about a cup a day...

                      This subject was disscussed in Discovery programe last Sep. in BBC worldservice radio but I got the feature in BBC On Air magazine..
