IF

1- If you come to our house, I'll be glad

2- If you came to our house, I would be glad

3- If you had come to our house, I would have been glad

1- We use the (simple present verb) in the first part. And the verb in (simple future) in the second part.

2- We use the verb (in the past) in the first part. And would + simple present in the second part.

3- We use the verb(had +past verb) in the first part. And would + have + p.p)

That was my try 2 explain If rule

he/ she/ it lives

the spelling sometimes changes

finish >>> it finishes

go>>>>> he goes

carry >>>>she carries

we make questions with do or does + infinitive

DO you go to school early,like Sarah ?

DOES Sarah like her life on the farm ?

use

1- for repeated actions , often with , ALWAYS, OFTEN,SOMTIMES,EVERYDAY,ETC...

they often go to the river for a swim

2- For facts which dont usually change

Sarah lives in Amman

3- usually with verbs such as ,LIKE, LOVE,HATE,KNOW,BELIEVE,UNDERSTAND,SEE,SMELL,HEAR,OWN,BELONG,HAVE,NEED

Sarah likes her life on the farm

Her parents own a sheep farm

The simple tenses
Simple present Subject + Verb ……….
e.

Simple g a) it snows in Alaska
b) tom watches TV every day

Past Subject + Verb(ed) ……………..
e.g a) it snowed yesterday
b) tom watched TV last night

Simple future Subject + will + verb
Other Form Subject + (be) Verb(ing)

Eg a) it will snow tomorrow
b) It is going to snow tomorrow
