If I were a bird< I would fly in the sky and travel beyond the fastest cloud.
I would fly in the night around the world with one idea in my head
I would search for places where joy had long deserted the hearts of
men , where tears had befriended the cheeks of mothers...
where peace of mind had never paid a visit .

البهجة قد هجرت قلوب الرجال منذ وقت طويل,حيث الدموع قد صاحبت وجنات الأمهات...
حيث الطمأنينة لم تذهب أبدا.

I would look for little children who could not enjoy a goodnight sleep
because pain had found a permanent place in their innocent hearts and tiny bodies.
To those children I would sing the whole night until drowsiness invaded
their eyelids , inviting them to close gently , and eventually to enjoy
[SIZE=5a sound sleep "Sweet dreams" I would say and wish , and then [/SIZE]
depart unnoticed , for my dream had come true.
كنت سأبحث عن الأطفال الصغار الذين لم يستطيعوا أن يستمتعوا بنوم هانئ لأن
لأن الألم قد وجد مكانا دائما في قلوبهم البريئة وأجسادهم النحيلة.
لأولئك الأطفال كنت سأغني طوال الليل حتى يغزو النعاس أجفانهم داعيا إياهم ليغفون بدعة
وأخيرا ليتمتعوا بنوم عميق ."أحلام جميلة" كنت سأقول وأتمنى, ثم أرحل دون أن
يلحظوني, حيث أن أحلامي قد تحققت.
