Overview
Israeli TV channels are currently avaiable from 3 satellites :
The LMI 1 satellite , positioned at 75 degrees east
DO NOT PLAN TO install a dish for this satellite :this location will soon be abandoned and all the channels will move back to 4 degrees west ( Amos 1 / 2 ).

Amos ( 1 + 2 ) satellites are positioned at 4 degrees west and have two main beams : one is focused on the Middle East while the other - on central Europe.
The Middle East beam is currently used by 2 Israeli broadcasters :
Please pay attention to the fact that the Middle Eas beam is not recieveable outside the Middle East and the eastern Mediterranean countries .If you live elsewhere you will not be able to recieve the Israeli channels on these satellites !

HotBird 3 13 degrees east
As of June 26 th , 2002 , IBA ( Israel Broadcasting Authority ) broadcasts a new channel in Arabic and in English , vailable all over Europe ,the Middle East and
Northern Africa with a small dish.
