The emperor Jones embodies the capitalism of society in which any one who comes from a far can be the ruler of the country by trickery even if this persona is stealer or criminal .so when this person controls the country he starts to change his language from colloquial into civilized one and give people the wisdom and advices ,that's exactly applied on Jones who represents a capitalistic one.
Features of the capitalistic society:
1.the wrong person is put in the right place(Jones moved from criminal into emperor)
2.eradiction of human values in which the man sells and buy his brother in humanity(auction).
3.rolling by tricky and deception (silver pullet).
4.no existence for religion and when it's existence it's used for the personal interest and that what occurs when smithers advices Jones that people will rebel against him ,and Jones reply that he will use the principles of Christianity to resist them.
5.reveal the misfortunes of the western civilization which represents a prison(capitalism )inside prison (man's desire).
6.to refer to the unfair treatment with Negros in the west.
Jones passes three stages in his live :
a. Prisoner(personal) b.emperor(social renown-language) c.abstract (without values, depending on charm)
setting:
jungle where no authority to control it ,the white men sell and buy their brothers in humanity.
Palace: authority means cosmopolitan state :law.
