Starting from this month I’m going to post a weekly topic about vocabulary…
In every post I’ll be talking about a related group of vocabularies that interest all of us and it will be for all levels and they are classified in groups because it said that keeping groups of related words can improve learning them quickly ..
Of course you are welcome to keep posting your topics about vocabulary and word games that can build up our vocabulary and help us to memorize them better ….
The only different thing in my weekly post that I’m adapting the series of topics from an English book and a programme broadcasted by BBC..
My first series is called WORLD BUILDER and it was a learning English programme broadcasted by BBC and I have some written notes from it sent to me by mail…

What do you look like?
Height
I’m very tall/ quite short/ medium height
Skin
My skin is dark/ pale/ brown
Eyes and Hair
I’ve got….dark/ brown/ green/ hazel/ blue eyes
I’ve got….fair/ brown/ red/ long/ short/ curly hair
Build
I’m quite slim
I’m not very fat
I’m very thin
I’m medium build
Word Game
Find the word which doesn’t fit. For example:
Skin: dark—pale—long
The answer is ‘long’ because skin can be dark or pale but not long.
1.hair: short—fair—slim ----------
2.eyes: brown—long—big ---------
3.height: tall—short—dark ---------
4.build: gray—fat—thin ---------
I’m going to post the right answer next week accompanied with the new group..
