yes, .... but much better to use SCSI Interface...
you can not only grab Frames... you can grabe a full movie using
Vgrabber
and recompress it to DivX format ... with best quality
the same case with Audio ... you can grab it as MP2 format ...
and recompress it with LAME ... to convert to MP3
!!!

not all the nokia users have a scsi but they have serial cable

but i agree with you 100% the scsi is much much beter.

i test it with serial cable but it make my MM reboot and stop at 1024 and tell me would you like to try, and do yes and it reboot my MM,....etc!!
does anybody test it with serial??

برنامج يضغط من صيغة MPEG2 - وليست الــ MPEG2 العادية مثل الــ DVD
بل صيغة MPEG2 DVB

ويحولها إلى الصيغة المعروفة والمشهورة DivX والتي تبقي جودة الصورة على أصلها
لكن تخفض حجم ملف الفيديو إلى الثلث تقريباً وأقل حتى

ملاحظة: يجب توفر DVB2000 + SCSI + برنامج تسجيل مثل DVBRecorder

i have problems with my pc,i cant send files via mail.....i dont know why....1
when i try to send file my pc stucks,but.....i cant leave you with no answers so.....1

i downloaded the latest DvbEdit version from the above link
BETA 9 build 61
and it works fine with the dvb2000
it cab grab images with no problem.
i try it with several dvb2000 versions and it works perfect with all of them.

what version of bootloader you have ???1
i read some where that the b2.10uns can have some problems with some of the dvb2000 tools.

i have the latest dvbedit version the link you gimme it's the one from which i download it
i have B2.00uns as a bootloader but it doesn't work and it's really strange!!!
it reboot without any reason!!
but don't matter brother i can live without !!

B2.00uns is best for DVB2k , I Have it on my 9600 working wonderful
I have ask Micha about this, he just told me this is the only one stable with DVB2000
about your problem.. . check the serial port or DVB2k settings
check this with minimum progs works at background
I mean Click ALT+CTRL+DEL who knows maybe some progy bother it

by the way , which OS you use... !!

I think best OS for playing with DVB2k is Win98SE
I have special computer P-586 only for doing some jobs at DVB2000

anyway you can ask at this friendly Board with Micha

yes i heve also win98SE and i test it under win95 too but no way!
the cable is good cause i test it on many utilities such transbox, NSD for nokia ; eddy2000,,....
is it the nooneman version of dvb2000??
i don't know
the speed is 38400
i unchecked all stuff on the grabing pic and i try jpeg and bmp , color, or not,etc
but always the same it begain at 1024 and stoped and reboot my MM9600
but am still on till the result incha allah
